TEXT MESSAGING, CALLS, AND PUSH NOTIFICATIONS

SMS / Text Messaging Data

When you opt in to receive SMS messages from The Andy App, we collect your mobile phone number and the timestamp of your consent in order to send you service-related text messages about your property tax appeal and account updates.

Your phone number and SMS consent information will be used solely for communication related to our services. We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information to any third party for marketing purposes.

Your information is only shared with our SMS service provider to enable messaging. These providers process your phone number and consent information solely for the purpose of delivering messages on our behalf and are not permitted to use your information for any other purpose.

Your SMS consent is specific to The Andy App and does not transfer to any other campaign, brand, or organization.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies depending on the status and activity of your property tax appeal. You may receive recurring messages related to appeal updates, document requests, deadline reminders, and account notifications. On average, you can expect to receive approximately 2–8 messages per month, though this may vary based on your appeal activity.

Consent Records: We maintain records of your opt-in consent, including the date, time, method, and source through which consent was provided (for example, web form, keyword opt-in, or point-of-sale). These records are retained for the duration of your participation in our messaging program and for a reasonable period thereafter as required for compliance purposes.

Communication Types

By providing your mobile phone number and enabling relevant permissions, you consent to receive:

  • Text messages related to your property tax appeals, including status updates, document requests, and deadline reminders
  • Phone calls from our representatives regarding your property tax appeals
  • Push notifications with important updates about your appeal status, required actions, and relevant deadlines

Opt-In Confirmation: Upon opting in to receive SMS messages, you will receive a single confirmation message from The Andy App verifying your enrollment. This confirmation message will include the program name (The Andy App), a description of the types of messages you will receive, message frequency disclosure, the notice that message and data rates may apply, opt-out instructions (reply STOP to opt out), and help instructions (reply HELP for assistance).

Call-to-Action Disclosures: At the point where you provide your consent to receive text messages from The Andy App, the following disclosures will be clearly and conspicuously displayed:

  • The program name: The Andy App
  • The types of messages you will receive (for example, property tax appeal updates, deadline reminders, document requests)
  • Message frequency disclosure (message frequency varies)
  • "Message and data rates may apply"
  • Opt-out instructions: Reply STOP to unsubscribe
  • Help instructions: Reply HELP for help
  • Links to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service

Opting Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying with any of the following keywords to any message you receive from us: STOP, CANCEL, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT.

Upon receiving your opt-out request, we will send you a single confirmation message acknowledging that you have been unsubscribed. No further messages will be sent unless you re-opt in. Your phone number will be removed from our SMS messaging list within 24 hours of your opt-out request.

You may opt out of receiving calls by informing our representative or contacting customer service. Push notifications can be managed through your device settings.

For assistance, you may reply HELP to any message from The Andy App. You will receive a response containing the program name (The Andy App), a brief description of the messaging program, customer support contact information, opt-out instructions, and a notice that message and data rates may apply.

Standard message and data rates may apply for text messages.

SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

We may share your personal information with:

Service Providers

We may share your information with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf, including:

  • SignWell for digital document signing
  • Payment processors
  • Cloud storage providers
  • Customer service providers
  • Analytics providers
  • Marketing partners (with your consent)
  • SMS and messaging service providers solely for the purpose of delivering text messages on our behalf

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).

SMS Consent and Messaging Records: We retain records of your SMS opt-in consent (including the date, time, source, and method of consent), opt-out requests, and messaging logs for the duration of your participation in our messaging program and for a minimum of five (5) years thereafter, or as otherwise required by applicable law and industry guidelines. These records are maintained to demonstrate compliance with CTIA messaging principles, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and other applicable regulations.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to such third-party services, and we are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS

We may use automated data collection technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites. Some web browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature that allows you to tell websites you do not want to have your online activities tracked. Our Service currently does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the country in which you reside. These countries may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.

Texas Property Owners

This application assists property owners in Texas with property tax appeals. We comply with all applicable Texas laws regarding property tax consultants and the handling of property tax appeals. Our fee structure is contingent upon successful reduction of your property taxes, and we only charge a fee if we succeed in reducing your property taxes.
